CONGRESSMAN MURPHY TO OFFICIALLY KICK OFF 2010 CAMPAIGN
Will Host Office Grand Opening In Clifton Park Sunday

Clifton Park, NY - On Sunday, July 25th, Congressman Scott Murphy (NY-20) will officially kick off his campaign to continue representing the 20th District. Scott will be joined by volunteers and supporters as he makes the announcement during the grand opening of his new Campaign Headquarters in Clifton Park.

Scott has already earned the endorsements of the Democratic, Independence, and Working Families Parties and will appear on all three ballot lines in November.

During his time representing the 20th District, Scott Murphy has established a strong, independent record. He was named one of Congress' most centrist members by the National Journal Magazine. Newspapers across Upstate New York have taken notice as well, in January, the Times Union said that he “has proven to be a careful, conservative Democrat.” And the Daily Gazette said, “Gillibrand’s successor, Murphy, is proving himself as moderate and palatable to 20th District voters as Gillibrand was.”
